V for Vendetta

Very very very good movie. Very!!! It is a must-see. I'd give it a 10/10. V is amazing. He's my perfect man (or woman?) :P

The Libertine

It's a movie introducing, Johnny Rochester, a wino, a pervert, very graphic and verbal sex references. Once get past the initial shock, it's an enjoyable movie. It has a very poetic talking, especially from Johnny, we learn about who he is, what he thinks.

At the beggining, he says we will hate him for what he is, a wino, a pervert, and the best of them all.

At the end, he is destroyed, sick, drooling on the bible and gazing at the angels dancing. A haft-man, with no pride, but with belief.
'Do you love me now?'
We love him now.

But it's the pervert, the wino, we should love.

It's a hard movie to rate. It's just rate-less. Johnny acts amazing.. His eyes and face speak for themselves. There is a few good parts in the movie, well-thought sentences.

One should not live without seeing that movie.

Ultraviolet - 7/10
Nice special effects but the plot line doesn't make sense at all. The girl is supposed to be a vampire, but she roams around in daylight no problem, and it took me the haft of the movie to understand she was a vampire. A vampire in a science fiction future, what the hell? No blood, nothing morbid, vamps don't even bite people and don't drink blood!
And there's that stupid lil boy she tries to save all the movie long. What the hell? A lil and ugly boy that reminds her of her son she lost when she was pregnant. An ugly lil boy has nothing to do in this movie.
They dressed the girl in ugly clothes, that keep changing color for no reason, she has HORRIBLE hair. The actress has a nice face and a nice body, and they succeeded into making her ugly anyway.
But I'm still giving it 7 because of the great special effects, the fact that it has some nice graphics and lighting, the simple fact that it's science fiction and that because it's not boring to watch. Basically: the technical group did a very good job, the people who wrote the scripts are dimwits.

Well I don't know what to say about this one. Not my kind of movie but my friend wanted to see it, she likes that kind of movie.
Basically the story of some corrupt police officers who want to eliminate a nutty guy(obsessed with becoming baker) who is going to the court to identify the police officers who killed an innocent man. The police officers don't want him to so they try to kill him many times, but one of the police officers is guilty of what he has done and helps the witness, but the witness doesn't know he is also guilty.
It was alright.. But it's the kind of movie to see when it's on TV, not worth paying for, it just looks like any other movie. Somehow it reminded me of Collateral, the stupid pursuit never ends! It was long, but not boring. My friend liked it though.

Atleast my saturday was fun.
There's two movies, V for Vendetta and The Libertine going out in March, they both look good!
Vendetta is about some sort of masked guy totally anarchic and killing the evil cops! He's cool.
The Libertine is with Johnny Depp, do I have to say more? Johnny plays some sort of seductor in it, looks pretty good.
