Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

I was very much looking forward to see it when I first saw the trailer at the begining to july. I love weird men in costumes, aswell as Johnny Depp, he's a such a bizzare actor :). I went to see the movie the first weekend it got out, in French. I liked it, I would give it a 8/10. However, a few days later I went to see it in English, and now I am giving it a 10/10. Much better in English, soo funny. I went to see it again with friends, at the end I ended up listening to the movie 5 times, 4 times in IMAX. I made this little movie appreciation for a forum:

It's a remake of a previous movie based on a book. You might think it's a kids movie. But not at all! It's a brilliant movie, really. It's a mix of fantasy, absurd and of machiavellian at the limit of evilness! It's basically the story of 5 kids who are chosen to visit the chocolate factory of Willy Wonka.
Wonka is played by Johnny Depp. You might have heard Wonka looks like Michael Jackson, I do not agree at all. However, even if it is the case I find it quite fun, it adds a scary touch to the movie hehe.

Depp plays an OUTSTANDING performance in this movie, his character is unique and full of facets. Wonka's father was a sugar-hating dentist that would forbid him to eat candies, he would also put enormous braces on his son's teeth. Someday Willy got tired of it and quit his father. I think it's the reason why he is still childish when adult, he's living the childhood he never had. Also, after having quit his father, he could do all he wanted, he didn't have to grow.
Also, Wonka doesn't act like a women nor a men, some people confuse that lack of gender as him being gay. That is wrong. If you watch the movie carefully you'll notice by the way he acts that it's not the case. But that information does not play any importance in the movie, it's simply not mentioned. And even if he is.. that adds another weird touch to the movie bwhahaha.

There's also this machiavellian and calculating part of him. He planned all those traps to sort out who would be the winner of the 'special price'. It's his other main facet. Sometimes, he doesn't make any face expression but by looking in his eyes you can almost sense him smile evilly!

Hes also extremely funny with his Kaay's(that are more present in the French version) and his Heys also with the way he acts and speaks. His facial expressions are incredible! Think at it, hes all what I mentioned earlier, at the same time! The movie is also stuffed with subtile jokes that aren't hilarious but that are full of savour and that will make you smile even when you think at them after the movie. There is also the annoying Oompas Loompas that sing some quite funny songs. It's just soo funny to see Willy dance during the songs lol.

My rate is 9.5/10. The movie was almost perfect, it's really my kind of movie. You know, it's just soo twisted and weird, how can I not like it?! The movie has a few flaws, and annoying points, but they're quickly forgotten.

There is a few errors in the quotes, which is normal since the movie isn't out in DVD yet. I love those quotes, they are worth trying on real people to see their reaction. Like saying good morning starshine, the earth says hello instead of saying hi to someone.

Dreams

Ok, maybe you noticed I dreamed at about everyone I mentioned in early entries. Well that's right, I dream at about everyone I have a crush on. Not only characters or actors, also normal people I hitted on. It's an interesting 'ability'. My dreams are usually very vivid and ya... weird. Really weird.. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

French Teacher

I had a french teacher last year. She was very nice, somewhat attractive. Then that morning, she had that parfume.. That lovely parfume. I know it might sound crazy.. But that smell was extremely attractive.. Intoxicating is the word. I felt all different towards her after that. I was in class, and I would imagine myself embrasing her.. Licking her neck.. Crazy things..
Tip of the day: Be careful when you put parfume *wink*

Lucius Malfoy

I know, you think I'm a hopeless HP fan. Actually, I don't like the books nor the movies, it's my attraction for Snape who leaded me to be attracted to Malfoy. I made a dream about him, I liked Malfoy but the dream made me be attracted to him. He was such a bad boy in my dream, and a terrible good kisser, toucher..


You know, when you have that face a few centimeters away from yours, kissing you.. It feels a whole lot different..

Snape

Well, Snape is a big thing. Someday, I was zapping channels and I stopped at the end of Harry Potter 1, I decided to watch it. There was that part where Snape applauses at the victory of Slitherin (well, he thinks they won). I don't know, during those few moments I was looking at him, I couldn't stop looking at him. Those few seconds passed very slowly, but soon it was finished. I think I fell for him at that very moment. Let's say Snape occupied my thoughts, say fantasms, during a long time. I even did dreams about him, in one of those dreams I kissed him. Delicious... The kind of thing that makes you feel all weird at the morning..
Ya I suppose I could tell the dream..

The dream starts in the corridor of Hogwart's, in the middle of the night, I have been caught out of my dormitory and Snape is leading me to his office. Although, the "escort" to his office turns into a "visit" of the castle.We climb a lot of stairs, and he talks me about paintings, who are the people represented. He says it in a teacher tone. Soon, we arrive at his office.. But actually it isn't really his office, it's his personal quarters! And I know it. I see a door open nearby, leading to his bed.. He sits on his bed, and looks at me. He seems angry, but I can't hear what he's saying. Then he suddenly grabs me, pushes me a dark corner, and he starts to kiss me while he makes me "enter" his cape (he puts his cape around me, and I'm leaning on his body, it's like entering the cape). A long passionate kiss.. You know, I don't actually 'feel' the kiss, it's like having a subliminal kiss, you have the kiss yet you don't feel it physically, but you feel the kiss differently.. It's not physical, actually it's much more .. delicious than a real kiss. Anyway, after the kiss he leads me outside (for some reason we are magically back on the first floor). Then, I wake up.

I made other nice dreams about him, but none of them with a passionate kiss.

Stargate

I love a lot of tv shows, Stargate is one of them. There is a nice mix of fantasy, action, and subtilities. Subtilities, by that, I mean mainly romance. It's fun when there is a little reference during an episode. By exemple, when there is a reference to Jack and Samantha's love, there is that little music that jumps in, it's fun. Since they're soliders, it's forbidden love, so we appreciated even more those little romantic moments.

Yeah, I really would like those two to be finally officially together. However, I have a special attraction to Carter. I already made a dream about her in which I kissed her, she first seemed surprised, but she continued the kiss. God that I love those dreams, they make me crazy.

Intro

I'll use this entry as introduction. I made this blog to talk about myself, and what I like. Actually, it's to take off things off my mind. I am a deeply twisted person, yet elegant but somewhat egocentric, and you'll notice it in my posts. See yourself as a psychiast listening at dirty little secrets :-P
Fine, it's not really dirty little secrets, but it's quite personal things, mainly crushes, and I wouldn't like any one I know to learn about it. I will make my posts vague enough for someone to not know what I'm talking about. I like to show off, so I might also just give my blog's adress to someone I know, they would most likely not read it anyway.
